Parents: AmandusStuderand Francesca Bollinger. Sponsors: Joseph Foety and Veronica Jenn,neeStoesser. (nee - means maiden name).
Ignatius Studer, aka-Nathan, aka-Nate. At age 45 he retired fromfarmingand built a home in Wesley, IA. He was one of the organziers ofthe FirstNational Bank and was it's president for 30 years.
Jimmie Neville....mentioned that years ago he had worked in Wesley
pressing hay for $1.00 a day. That same year he had put up 112 acresofhay on shares for Nate Studer and pitched it into the Kunz hay barnfor$2.00 a ton. Nat studer's share was 66 2/3 cents and Neville's sharewas$1.33 1/3 per ton. (Prior to 1896). Excerpt taken from "History ofWesley- Centennial 1972 - June 15-16-17" by Lester L. Lease.
