- ! He had a bit of the wonderlust about him. He had an 8th grade education.
He left Elk Point and sold and repaired sewing machines. He worked on a
thrashing crew around Geddes, SD where he met his wife. He
farmed the Langeland Farm. Started a telephone Co.in Lake Andes
and managed this Co. until 1912 when he sold the Co.to Dakota
Central. He lost a large sum of money when a merchant defaulted
on a bond which Christopher had co-signed.
! He married Julia Berg 2/7/1917. No children were born to this union.
! He died of Bright's Disease.
